A multi-disciplinary designer and researcher, Sumit has worked extensively with the state Government of Assam as well as expanded product implementation at the national level, encouraging changes at policy level and design discourse within bureaucracy.Sumit has also worked as a design faculty as well as social entrepreneur, working in the sector of rural livelihood, accessible healthcare and information dissemination. Apart from being a designer, Sumit also practices mix media art, with few international shows and screenings. His idea of exploring medium is to work at the crossroads of nature, technology and human identity, using visual abstraction to distil the complex into minimalist.
